Hi List, Quite some time ago I received information contained in Season's of Change an updated History of Tioga County. On page 608 it mentions L.M. Gillette owned a feed mill in Nichols. It goes on to say that this mill was built around the middle of the 1890's by Frank Baker. L.M. Gillett ran it until 1915. I am hoping that L.M. Gillett is actually my husbands great grandfather Lewis Martin Gillett who was born in 1859 and died in 1940. I don't know the place of either of these occurrences. There is a family tie to Nichols, my husbands father and all but one aunt and uncle were born in Nichols. Does anyone on the list have any more information on who, exactly L.M. Gillette was?
