A Horace Allington appears in the 1850 Barton Census, Tioga County, NY at the time he was 19 years old. My great-grandfather was Horace Elisha Allington, born 9-15-1854. His father was Henry E. Allington, his mother was named Catherine. Horace married Elizabeth Augusta Hanke, who was from Germany, on 8-13-1876. According to the wedding certificate in our old Bible, Horace Elisha was born in New York. He had a brother, Frank, and a sister, Anna May. Thank you, Nola Gondek
