Drake In the name of God amen, I, Edmund Hobart, of the town of Owego in the county of Tioga and state of New York [late of the town of Spencer], being weak in body but of sound memory, blessed be God, do this day of March the third, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say: First, I give to my wife Mehitable Hobart all my household stuff, the rest and residue of my goods, chattels and personal estate - And my real estate I give and bequeath to my children to be divided equally among them as the law directs. And I make and ordain hereto my said wife sole executrix, and Doctor Lewis Beers executor of this my will in trust for the intents and purposes in this my will contained according to my true intent and meaning.
