Howard, I am forever looking for Abigail Lane who married Andrew Gee. He was born 1750 in Dutchess County, NY and died in Ulysses, Tompkins, NY. Abigail is supposed to have been from Ulster, NY. They had six children. Another Gee, close relative of Andrew, married another Lane girl. That was Moses Gee married to Phoebe Lane. I have thought the Lane women might have been sisters or cousins. I have noticed the significance of Coleman in Orange county but haven't been able to find the connection. I found it interesting the movement you mentioned of Coleman's to Barton.
