The 1850 census Had Daniel Garvey 53, wife Anna 58, Nancy Tucker 28 then her sister Lucy Garvey 22 in same house is Seth S. Tucker 29 Preacher.I found a better copy of the census. So S.S. Tucker's wife must be Nancy Garvey born abt. 1822.Sorry for the mixup.Lucy must have married a Middaugh after 1860 as she is with her father a that time.Thanks again for any help you can give me. A Rebecca Middaugh 16 living next to them with the family of a Jacob Stewart.Page 75. Frank Coursens I have nothing on only he was in Straits Corners in 1872 and a cousin to Daniel Garvey. The present owner, a nice gentleman whose name escapes me. He showed us deeds for the old homestead. The deeds included Elias' and Robert B.'s and others. He said he'd get copies to me, but I haven't heard from him. Since I can't recall his name, I guess I'm out of luck. I live in Newfield in Tompkins Co. so I guess I can get copies in Owego. Thank you for your help. Do you have anything else on VanLuven, Coursen, Boice or Davenport? The big thing I'd really like to know is the maiden name of Sarah/Sally VanLuven.
