In the 1865-66 and 1867-68 volumes, the only locality in Southold Town to be listed was Greenport, and there were no Butler or Ritterbusch/bush entries. In the 1868-69 volume, the hamlet of Southold in the town of Southold was listed, in addition to Greenport, but neither had Butler or Ritterbusch entries. Do you actually have a transcript of the church record? The ministers sometimes indicated the locality name for the bride and groom.
