I finally found my father, Harry Beaver, on the 1910 census living on Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst. I can imagine him as one of the boys standing at the Railroad Station on the photo accompanying the Community Profile of Lindenhurst. Does anyone know the name of the elementary school he would have attended in that area? Also, I noticed his older brother worked at a button factory. Anyone know what its name might have been?
