Her first husband, Clifford Bartlett was killed in a truck-train accident September 29, 1939. Photos of her during this period show that she might have been pregnant. When questioned, she always said that she had "lost" one child before she married my husband's father. Because, her husband was killed, we believe she may have given the child, up for adoption. We know that she and her husband had several good friends in the area. Hoping that we can find this half-sister or brother. This child would have been born late 1939 earl 1940.
