I can add a generation to your search. Your Grandfather is William Alfred Rose, who I believe was born in 1889 and died in 1940. His father was also named William Alfred Rose and was born in 1869 in New york. His mother was Elizabeth Ward and she was born in 1887, also in New York. On your grandmothers side of the family, Winifred Cummings, she was born in 1887. Her father was Edward Cummings and he was born in 1865 in England. Her mother was Mary Reilly (I'm not sure of the spelling) in 1868 and was from Ireland. I hope that helps a little. I ran into your father a few years ago in Las Vagas and again later in Georgia.
