Is it possible to obtain a photo copy of a will from 1727? Chas. HOLE witnessed the following: 'Abstracts of Unrecorded Wills, Vol XI, Prior to 1790', pages 39-40: 'In the name of God, Amen. February 8, 1727/8. I, HANNAH KNOWLING, of Shelter Island, ...... I make Charles HOLE, of Southold, and my daughter, Mary Merrow, executors.' (One witness was Henry Merrow) Left a grandson John Merrow; dau. Hannah Hopkins; grandsons William Hopkins and Cornelius Paine; son-in-law John Par and his dau. Mary; my son Elisha Par. If I can obtain a copy of Chas. signature, I can confirm he is the same Chas. who was in NJ in 1730's.
