I have yet to locate Jean's husband or children but I am still looking. My next step is to call her church to see if anyone there can assist me. Thank you all for your past suggestions. >From The Smithtown Messenger, June 1966: Jean Petrocelli Mrs. Sam J. Petrocelli died May 31, at her home, 7 Bridlepath Road, Smithtown. She was born in Brooklyn, and lived in Smithtown for eight years. She was an active member of Ss. Philip and James RC Church in St. James. Rosary services will be held Friday evening at the O. R. Davis Funeral Home, Smithtown. Solemn Requiem Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m. in Ss. Philip and James RC Church on June 4. Interment will take place in the famil plot in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn. She is survived by her husband, Sam; two daughters, Angela, and Lynn. Also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy V. Altz of Smithtown and one brother, Commander Leroy V. Altz Jr., U.S. Navy.
