He was a detective on the New York police force. Sometime around 1879 he married an Elizabeth (maybe Quinn) and they had a son, Frank N. Evanhoe in 1880. 1880 censuse shows Frank Ivanhoe (name misspelled) and Elizabeth, Mary 3 and Frank 3 mos. In 1900 Frank Evanhoe Sr. is married to a Jessie. Records state they have been married 9 years. All this shows as happening in Brookhaven. I am interested in three things: Marriage record of Frank and Elizabeth (Quinn) 1878 - 1880 Death record of Elizabeth Evanhoe Between 1880 and 1900 Marriage record of Frank Evanhoe and Jessie 1890 - 1891 Any help would be appreciated.
