The other surnames that connect are with the Crowell and Cole families of Rahway, NJ. Lydia Cole/Coles married a Hezekiah Hand in 1871 in New Jersey. The earliest Hand is a Stephen Hand born 1545, in Kent, England. The Reed's married into the Crowell family line in 1923 in Summit NJ.
