One is on North Wading River Road and the other is on Sound Ave. (but is at the intersection of Oliver St. thus it is known as the "Oliver Hill Cemetery".) Oliver Hill is a historical site and no longer an active burial ground. I beleive volunteers up keep the cemetery every so often. It is very small and goes in and out of disrepair as interest in it waxes and wanes. Here's a link to the headstones that were still legible in 1972. http://www.longislandgenealogy.com/Cem/OliverHill.html The other Cemetery, usually known as Wading River Cemetery is a larger and still active cemetery. Here is a link to some of the older headstones in that cemetery . http://www.longislandgenealogy.com/Cem/WadingRiver.html I don't know of any cemetery that is on Locust Road. The Suffolk County Historical Society would be your best bet to get historical info. about Wading River and it's cemeteries. http://www.riverheadli.com/rmuseum.html What time era are you researching? That info. would probably tell us if the burial is in Oliver Hill or Wading River Cemetery. -Janet
