My Satterly is Deborah Satterly, 10/25/1772 from Setauket, died02/15/1846. She married Nathaniel Ackerly (10/25/1771-06/05/1851). He was a fence viewer from 1805-09. In 1811 he was one of the Committee to build a new Presbyterian church in Setauket. In 1812 he was Highway Commisioner in the town and in 1814 he was Overseer of Highways. 1815 he sold all his lands in Brookhaven to William Jayne for $8,000. In 1816 he bought a farm in Montgomery, Orange, NY and remained there until his death. He and Deborah were married 02/14/1797 in Setauket.
