John was born Kent England and came to Lynn mid to late 1630's. In 1640's he moved 1st to Southampton and ca 1649 to Easthampton, where he and wife Alice died, John in 1662. Son Joseph went to Guilford, New Haven ca 1662, and bought land in neigboring town. Married Jane Wright, daughter of Anthony Wright ca 1664/65. This area became CT ca 1665/66. Sons Thomas(Jerusha Dayton), Benjamen, and Shamgar moved to Cape May, CAPE MAY NJ. The rest of John & Alices' children stay on LongIsland, at least for a period. GINNY 2 vmartinez5946@aol.com
