I'm not sure if they have ever been microfilmed. If a trip to Canton would not be feasible and if you would consider hiring a paid researcher, the SLCHA (St. Lawrence county historical association) could refer one to you. If they have been microfilmed, you could check at www.familysearch.org to see if the LDS has a copy. Not sure whether ancestry.com would have images.
