Hi Kathy Sometimes people are missing in the Census. They got missed by the Census Taker or they were moving at the time they were taken. You did not say how you were searching. If you are using Ancestry.Com many are not indexed but if you go through page by page you will find. them. Ancestry also has the names on the Index wrong in many cases. One reason I like the microfilms. Also Northern Upstate NY does not always seem to be complete with Ancestry. They do things in bits and pieces and then update from time to time. St. Lawrence County can be a problem so I resort to another Census Source. Pat R
