Blanchard, was the daughter of David Blanchard (b. 30 Apr 1794 in Pittsford, Rutland Co. Vermont; d. Feb. 1867 in Schuyler Falls, Clinton Co. New York) and his second wife, Lorain Perry (b. c1826 in New York; d. 29 Jan 1899 in Plattsburgh, Clinton Co., New York). Siblings were: Mary Blanchard, Rollin Blanchard, Viola Blanchard and Stanton Blanchard, all born to David and Lorain. Step-siblings were: Marcello Blanchard, George Blanchard, Adeloner(?) Blanchard and Hiram Blanchard, all born to David Blanchard and his first wife Orpha Canfield. Orpha Blanchard m. Seth F. Richardson in Potsdam, NY, in Aug. 1865. Their children were: Frank Elmer Richardson, Cora May Richardson, Ernest Farwell Richardson, Hiram Marcello Richardson, Ella Alzina Richardson (my grandmother) and Anna Belle Richardson, all born in Wisconsin.
