The church records are online at the county website under usgenweb. Also the thousands of cemetery headstone pictures indexed and put online by Anne Cady. Also old newspaper, census and other records. Start at www.usgenweb.org and click your way to NY then St. Lawrence county. Bathsheba was apparently alive in 1840 but died within the next few years. Joseph apparently died in 1846, a period of time after his wife. No tombstones have been turned up in the area for ether Joseph or Bathsheba. One son is buried in DeKalb. If your records go back that far, could you look to see if these people are listed. I particular need a document that shows Bathsheba was alive and living in the area prior to 1840. If anyone else has church records they could check I would appreciate that too. Thank you from anything anyone can add about this family..
