Witnesses for the marriage were Matthew and Alice Hughes, cousins of Thomas. Thomas & Jane had 4 children, John, Sara, Mary & Anna. Jane's father was Patrick O'Brien. Some of her siblings were Catherine b. abt. 1837 & married Andrew Tiernan, Anna, b. April 1, 1846, married Thomas Dowdle. A brother, James, b. 1844 married Catherine Doyle, b abt. 1845.
