    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/2RB.2ACE/8475.2 Message Board Post: Here is the text of the obit from the Watertown Daily Times (accessible at www.fultonhistory.com): "Watertown Daily Times John Hurst Ogdensburg, April 20 - John Hurst, a well known resident of Lisbon, died Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Armstrong, on the Canton road near Ogdensburg following a brief illness from pneumonia. HIs wife died during the past week after a long illness. When Mr. Hurst was also stricken he was removed to his daughter's to be cared for. He was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist church. Services will be held in the church at Flackville tomorrow at 1pm, (standard time)." Reading between the lines, I'd say there is a good chance he is buried in Flackville Cemetery which is actually in Lisbon (its also known as Campbell Cemetery). There is also a short article on the site as well showing that his wife died April 12th of the same year. There are articles from 1923 for an Elizabeth Hurst (aged 79) who died in Lisbon and was buried in Flackville (Campbell) cemetery. Lastly, if you go to the Fulton History site and search there newspapers for the following (including quotes): "INDIAN WAR JOHN HURST", there is a fairly long article from 1916 that talks about John Hurst and his activities in the Indian war. Its from the Ogdensburg Newspaper. Hope this helps, Anne Cady
