Town clerks are listed 'roster of officials' at the county site under usgenweb.org. You might also ask the SLCHA (St. Lawrence county historical society) if they would search their cemetery and funeral home records. For more info from their website, search 'slcha' at google. If you can make a trip to the county seat (Canton, NY) you can search wills, land records, probate and more. Plus, the county courthouse is a short walk from the historical society.
