George Spring is my husband's great grandfather. His father was Marshall Spring who was probably born in Russell in 1827. Marshall's parents were probably John and Hannah Shepard Matthews. I cannot, after many years, determine where Marshall is buried nor can I find where John's final resting place is. And, I have yet to locate where John H. Spring came from or who his parents were. Hannah was in Michigan on the 1880 census at 94. If you have anything on these folks I'd be very interested! Dawna Clark
