I wasn't sure if you were still looking. Also Thanks to everyone that took the time to offer advice!!! I have seen that census and thought about it. It could be a possibility but I don't know. The info I am going on is from Andrew Sanimaw's marrage record (Her name is Mary Kirkie) and Francis Santimaw's death record (Mary Cartier b St Regis NY) (Louis and Mary Santimaw's sons). The birth info I am using is coming from the 1880 census that listed her as being born 1827 in NY (Mary Santimo). There always was a rumor that there was Indian deep in the genes. If Mary is a Kirkey/Cartier that could possilbly explain what had been passed down by word of mouth years ago. Jen
