Does anyone have access to cemetery information to look for an unknown male CHAPMAN who would have died 1856 to 1860 (under the age of 30) in the Stockholm NY area? I am searching for the Unknown CHAPMAN spouse of Lucinda WILLISTON CHAPMAN LEONARD. He would have been born probably in the 1820-1830's to Hiram and Mary Polly SMITH CHAPMAN, who lived on what is now Blind Crossing Rd, No. Stockholm, NY. On the 1860 US Census, Stockholm, St. Lawrence Co., NY, Lucinda (WILLISTON) CHAPMAN has a four year old son named Freddie CHAPMAN and they are both living with Hiram and Mary Polly SMITH CHAPMAN. Lucinda later married widow Hiram LEONARD and per census, Fred/Freddie took on the surname of LEONARD. I have checked Brookdale cemetery online, which I believe is the closest to Blind Crossing Rd. Mary Polly SMITH's father Jesse SMITH and grandfather Asahel SMITH, I believe are buried in East Part Cemetery, so that is a possibility. Any help or suggestions in finding unknown CHAPMAN, d 1856-1860 would be greatly appreciated, Diana Chapman Owen
