Cooper and Georgiette Almira Cooper. Ruth F. Cooper was born about 1827 in St. Lawrence County New York. And, her sister was born April 14, 1843 in Ostego, St. Lawrence County, New York. I am trying to find birth or baptism records for them. Also, James Cooper's first wife Sarah Cooper (Rice) died in Ostego, ST. Lawrence County, New York around the late 1830's or 1840. I am trying to find death/cemetery records for her. Finally, James Cooper married his second wife Almira B. Brooks in Ostego, St. Lawrence County, New York about 1840. Do you possibly mean "Oswego" which is in Oswego County? I have these names in my family but do not have much on them. Clara Jane Cooper married Emery(Emory) Cross and Lucinda Cooper married James Beach and after he died she married Martin Thatcher Cross. Emery and Martin were brothers to my g grandfather, Perry Cross. Clara Jane and Lucinda were also cousins of James Fennimore Cooper. I would be interested in exchanging info on the Coopers.
