The following children were born after emigration to North America: Johanna (1847), Bridget (1849(, Margaret (1853-1898), Catherine (1854 - aft 1880), Elizabeth (1856). While the last three were born in Rossie, St Lawrence County, it is possible the middle two were born in Canada, possibly Carlton County. Margaret married Michael Horr and Catherine married John Cotton/Cottom. James was living with his sister Margaret in later years.
