    1. Re: [NYSTLAWR] KNAP, Ephraim Burial Place: Hale Cemetery, N. Stockholm?
    2. Hi Vince Have you been to your local LDS Family History Library? If not I would suggest that it might be a good idea to order records from this from the Congregational Church that was located there. Also there are Cemetery Records available. Both are on Micro-film and prior to Vital Records church and Cemetery records are among you best ways to document a Vital. Also in Canton NY is the County Court House and they have all the early records for Land and Early Will Records. The Court House would also have Probate Records even if a Will was not filed. You could write to them for information. Another source would be to contact the Village or Town Clerk in Stockholm and see if they have any information regarding Ephraim Knapp/Knap. They have a great deal of information on early settlers. Last but not least is to contact the St Lawrence County Historical Society and see if any Family Folder exists or if other information is available. See http://www.slcha.org/ and write to them for information that might be available. There is a slight charge but remember they are also Non Profit and the employee's are all volunteers, so a small donation is always appreciated. Regards Pat Regan
