I am more confused than before about my Michael O'Connor who is missing in action in St. lawrence County. I did some reading on the old newspapers on line and it appears that the Catherine in West Stockholm was not his widow. In her obit it says her husband was a Daniel. Okay, back to square one. I am going back to searching for him in Canton. His niece. my gr grandaunt, married a Desmond in Canton and his daughter married an Ames and they lived in Canton. I am so disappointed since I was sure I had found aunt Catherine, widow of Michael. I will have to continue the search. thanks all who tried to help. marg
