They had another 5 children in the USA [ Hugh (1823), George (1824), Robert (1826), Jane (1829) and Isabelle (1832)]. They lived in the vicinity of Black Lake a/o Stone Church Road. They were farmers. Benjamin (d.1Oct56) and Mary (d.1867) are buried in the Stone Church Cemetery. Looking for information: (1) Exactly when/how did they make their trip from Ireland? (2) What family members did they leave behind in Ireland? (3) What were their Irish origins? It is interesting that they apparently came with a group [Alex Ferguson, James Gilmour, Alexander Jamieson, Arthur Gilmour, Daniel Robinson, James Russell, Alex Bois, Arthur Gilmour (Jr), Andrew Percy, Mary Ferguson, Betsy Gilmour, Christiana Jamieson, Janet Gilmour, Jennet Haggart, Anna Russell, XXX Bois, Mary Witherhead, and Agnes Gilmour] since they had a common letter of introduction from the Scottish Presb. Church.
