Father: Jacob Pohlman b. abt 1775 d. before 1840; was a millwright in Ogdensburg. Lived in the town of Morristown outside of Ogdensburg. Came from Philadelphia, Pa. Was a Lutheran. Eleanor Pohlman b. 1813 d. 1851, buried Stone Church Cemetery between Pope Mills and Ogdensburg. Eleanor (Ellen) had sisters Narcissa Sarah Pohlman, m. Benjamin Franklin Pope; Elizabeth Kesiah Pohlman, m. Justin C.Breckenridge, brother of my 3rd great grandfather, Daniel Breckenridge, who worked for Timothy Pope at his mills. Timothy Pope donated land for the building of second Presbyterian Church of Oswegatchie. Burned in 1888. Replaced by Stone Presbyterian Church. Timothy was killed at his mill in 1835 and was first burial in Stone Church Cem yard. Was there last year. Narcissa Pohlman Pope buried in Edwardsville Cem on Black L. Daniel Breckenridge and Aurora Ann Pope Breckenridge buried there as well. Elizabeth Kesiah Pohlman Breckenridge had 9 children incl. Eleanor Susanna Breckenridge and Narcissa Sarah Breckenridge
