If a trip to Canton is not feasible but you would consider hiring a paid researcher, the St. Lawrence County Historical Assn. could make a referral. I haven't visited the Sampubco site in quite a while. I know my grandfather's will is at the courthouse but there was nothing at Sampubco to indicate that. Online stuff is fine if you find something and it is confirmed by other sources.
