My Great Grandfather George DeLorme lived on the St. Regis Reservation and referred to Mrs Bushey as "Grandma Bushey" recalls my Grandfather. I am trying to piece together this crazy puzzle and am ready to pull out my hair! Does anyone have any information on this woman and her DeLorme connection? I know she rescued a man named Louis Seigal from the Oswegatchie river when she was 90 and made it into TIME Magazine September 16, 1929. Any information will be greatly appreciated!
