He "disappeared" when my grandmother was a little girl. When he did eventually return (bearing gifts), my great-grandmother had remarried. So...Adelbert left and never was heard from again. On the 2 birth certificates I have for reference...I gathered he was born in Iowa and may have lived in Kansas.??
