Would this be James Cooper born November 23, 1795 to James Cooper and Sarah Comly Cooper? James Cooper was married to Sarah Rice. I don't have their marriage date or Sarah Rice Cooper's death date. I believe that she died either in 1840 or sometime before 1840. James and Sarah had 6 children: Ezra, Esther, Ruth, Hannah, William and Alonzo. After Sarah Rice Cooper died, James Cooper remarried a lady by the name of Almira Brooks sometime in 1840. They had two children: Georgia and James. Around 1844 or so the family moved to Lucas County, Ohio. They lived in Waterville Township. James Cooper was a first cousin of the Author, James Fenimore Cooper.
