Ann's husband went off to war 17 Nov 1862, became a POW, and died in prison 21 Apr 1864. Ann as a widow applied for a pension under 1862 Congressional Act in July 1865 and it was approved in July 1867 and it was a year or so later she moved from Rossie, NY to Housatanic, MA. She was next found living in Waterbury, CT june 1880. Ann died on 11 Sept 1899 in Waterbury, CT and is buried in Old St. Joseph Cemetery.
