George was married to Eizabeth Reed. They had another son Isaac Hamilton 1785-1869 who is buried in nearby Russell New York. I know nothing of his family. Thomas might be a Grandchild. There are quite a few Hamilton's in the Ogdensburg Cemetery http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~stlawgen/CEMETERY/Ogdensburgh/Ogdensburghhk.HTM If you haven't been to Anne Cady's St Lawrence Co site, you need to go. It is the very best especially for cemetery listings and pictures. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~stlawgen/index.HTM I am familiar with Ashville as I went to school in Fredonia. I would also try the Rutland Vermont area histories as that is where the Hamilton's lived until just before 1850. My family seemed to have come in the 1840's to Herman. I am sure if you do a search on Ancestry.com for Noah Hamilton 1804-1894 you can trace the Hamilton line as far as I have it. There is not much on line from Rutland that I could find. I did follow the line of Alexander Hamilton and I found no connection Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
