Mary's parents were Camillie Cornelius Butler/Boutillier and Julia O'Dell. The Butler/Boutillier family apparently lived in Ogdenburg, St. Lawrence County, New York in 1848 when their son Francis Butler was born. The family later moved to Rochester, NY, and then to Muskegon, MI. There may have been some stops along the way, Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Joseph, MI.
