Perhaps you can help me clear up some confusion I am finding in some of the postings for the mallette family. I see John A. Born in 1897, I have all the children on my list, however, my grandfather, was john F. married to gladys bender of Carthage. As I stated, I grew up in his house, I remember talk of his brother Henry, sisters, Cora and Blanche. He often spoke of his other siblings but did not know them all that well, because he was only 6 years old when his mother died, and he was sent to St.Josephs orphanage. I have never heard of John A. or Catherine Wall. I would truely appreciate any help you or anyone else give me in this. I have names and birthdates of all the children. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have if I can. This past summer I traveled to Gouverneur and the River side cemetary. There I found the grave of Victoria. also burried there are her inlaws, George Sr. and Margerite. I sure would like to find George Jr. I have no imformation on the Deroche side, and would appreciate any that is out there. I know that Victoria and George came into this country as children from LeCedres, Quebec. The where in a group of 36 people. They where married in 1876. They had 17 possibly 18 children. The cencus of 1900 show George and Victoria married 24 years with 15 children, 11 of them living. Thanks for any help you can give me. I will try to answer any questions you may have. Vickie any more imformation. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
