Hello! My name is Victoria Mallette, I am the great grandaughter of George and Victoria Deroche Mallette. I Recently joined the rootsweb community, and was pleasantly surprized to find so many others researching the Mallette family. My grandfather was John I grew up in his house. I have quite a lot of imformation on the Mallettes, but am still searching for more. Can you tell me what happened to George after Victoria died. My grandfather was one of the children who went to the orphans home. He was only 6 when his mother passed away. Also in the orphanage wthas his brother,and a girl child named maryann or marion. This is imformation I recently recieved. Up untill now I had no knowledge of this girl child. I know that Victoria died in child birth, I wonder if this was that child . If you have any more imformation on the Mallette family or wish to share some of mine please contact me. I am also looking for any imfo on Victorias family, the Deroches.
