The person I am looking for is a Rosette Mallette, supposedly born in Quebec about 1803. She married a Stephen DeRosier. I do not know where they married, but in the early 1830s they lived in Jefferson County, Alexandria Bay. For a time after that, they lived in Niagara County then moved to Oswego County, NY after Stephen died and remained there until her death in 1880. They had a daughter Catherine, a son Lewis, a son Francis and a son Morris. There may have been other children I am not aware of. If you have a Rosette in your family of Mallettes, please let me know and we can exchange what information we have. She also went by the name of Susan.
