Currently I am actively working on my direct line which has/had a sizable presence in St. Lawrence County - especially around Hermon, Canton, Russell, and Pierrepont. There was an Eel(l)s Settlement in W Pierrepont on Eels Rd. Anyone who can assist with any information of the Eells family from this area would be helpful. I know several ancestors are buried in the Beech Plains Cemetery in Pierrepont. I am trying to get records from that cemetery to find the plots of those family members.
