So most likely not the Alex you are speaking of, as I also believe this Alex was born in NY and not Canada. I am descended from Victoria Vancour Yerdon, Alex's sister. If anyone has any further information about Mrs. Mary Phillips Vancour for who this obituary was written for, please contact me. I am interested in knowing her parents, grandparents, etc. Thank you!
