You could contact the vital records at the city of Ogdensburg to see if they have a death certificate for him(if he died in Ogdensburg) If you can get a death certificate it may list his parents on it. I don't know what the charge is there. Sometimes they are $10.00 and sometimes $22.00. You probably could call and ask. (The info on the death certificate is only as good as the person's knowledge who supplied it) Also, you could check with Notre Dame Church to see if there was a burial for him in 1916.
