The Brodeur dit Lavigne is definately the Brothers ancestry. My great grandfather Joseph Lavigne, s/o Lewis lavigne and Philomene Berthiume dit Barcum . My mother Viola Pleau, d/o Elizabeth Lavigne and George Pleau, gd/o of Joseph Lavigne and Mary Ashlaw aka Asselin once told me she remembered having an Uncle Paul Brothers who she thought came from Canada.
