I've just discovered that I have a Ekey in my family line. Nancy Dixon, daughter of Robert Dixon and Ann Allenby; married William J. Ekey, they married Dec. 5, 1862. Nancy was born in 1824 and died March 2, 1860 at age 32. I have no birth date for William, but he died Dec. 1862. Both are buried in the Dailey Ridge Road Cemetry, Norwood, St. Lawrence Co., NY.The children that I'm aware of are: Addison who married Belle M. and then Jennie S. Rutherford, they had one daughter; Ethel R.; Almon, born Oct. 1857 and died April 3, 1857 age 1yr. 6mo.; Mary L. (Minnie) born in 1861 died May 3, 1878 age 17; Willie born Sept. 1861 and died June 24, 1862 age 9mo. All are buried in the Dailey Ridge Road Cemetry. What I'm looking for is obits and anything else I can get a hold of. One other thing I'm searching for is the burial place of my third great grandparents, Thomas' born 1785 and his wife; Susanna (Midgley) Todd. Susanna was born in 1783, they l! ived in Madrid, St. Lawrence Co., NY according to the 1860 census for Madrid, NY. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
