We know she was born about 1798 in Vermont (probably the Brattleboro area) and died in 1857. She married Nathaniel Powers Allen in 1820. They had 11 children: William, Anna, John, Nathaniel, Sophia, Madison, Samuel, Lovisy Matilda, Orlena, Noble and Mason Sherman. I have details on some of them if you are interested let me know. My line goes to Nathaniel and Lovisa through Lovisy Matilda. Hopefully I can find more information on Lovisa Rice. If so, I'll post it here. Have a great day!
