I have found lots of information from census, the newspaper archives and even have a picture of his headstone monument at the Russell cemetary - but I cannot seem to be certain of where exactly he came from in England. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look? It would appear that quite a few farmers relocated from Vermont to the St. Lawrence County area in the early 1850's?
