Unable to find parents and place of birth for Joel Rowland. Joel is in the 1810 Census, Oneida Co, NY; 1820 Census in Verona, Oneida Co, NY, 1830 on Martinsburg, Lewis, New York, 1830 Census in Martinsburg, Lewis, New York, 1840 census in Morristown, St. Lawrence Co, NY and died 26 Feb 1850 and that would have been before the census were taken. Joel and Lucy Wood Rowland are buried in the Edwarsville, Morristown, New York. The data for Joel Rowland is unclear. Most data shows him as being borned in NY about 1790 but no parents have been found. Does any one have information on Joel Rowland as to his parents, date and place of birth???? Mariah Rowland, d/o of Joel Rowland and Lucy Wood, married Oliver Hastings, named in the"Hasting Memorial".
